Community Fund awards Goostrey Art Studio!
Friends of Goostrey Station (FOGS )have some exciting news to share!
The new Goostrey Art Studio, which is coordinated by local artist Debbie Goldsmith and supported by FoGS, has been awarded a Lottery Awards for All grant from their community fund.
The grant supports community cohesion by supporting projects that will make a real difference to the community, although further funds are still needed the award will go towards the installation of much needed facilities in the space , which once installed will enable the studio to open up and offer regular art based activities to the local community.
Debbie said, " Exciting times are ahead and we are thrilled to be awarded the grant, its such an amazing space to work in and I am really looking forward to opening it up to our community"
